Farm crops (rye, barley and maize) are grown and harvested sustainably.
The crops go into a biodigester to produce clean, renewable biogas.
This also creates a highly nutritious organic fibrous material which becomes your premium garden mulch.
This makes it completely plant-based, vegan and regenerative!

Our mulch is extremely light, fibrous and easy to spread. It can be used year-round all over your garden!
Winter application, spread to four inches of depth and let mother nature do the rest! Worms, fungi and weather will help incorporate all the goodness into your now turbo charged soil!
Spring application, spread to four inches of depth then turn over the area to a fork’s depth. Great for new or struggling beds. If you can, wait 5-7 days before planting.
Can be used as a mulch, make sure to leave a gap around any young or sensitive plants. The result will be a natural and professional looking finish to your borders and beds. With an added boost of nutrients and organic matter.
Lawn dressing, best applied from winter to mid spring. Spread the mulch in a thin layer and rake to apply evenly. The next time you mow your lawn leave the clippings on the ground to help the mulch incorporate and improve the nutrient cycling of your soil.

Our product is made from crops only, no slurry or food waste. Often products made from waste food and slurry can have pieces of plastic and packaging which accidentally slip into the process.
The crops we use have to be processed before entering the anaerobic digester. This involves chopping and grinding ensuring a very consistant and even texture, unlike other products made from green garden waste where customers have told us they find twigs and logs through their compost!
Our mulch is produced through green energy production so you are helping contribute to the green energy transition. We also use the digestate on our own crops to close the loop of the nitrogen cycle and reduce the artificial fertiliser applied to the land, futher reducing carbon dioxide release!

Each 1000 litre bag is £60 including delivery if you live within 10 miles of Ipsden. We can deliver further but it would include an extra delivery fee.
Our bags are 1000 litres in volume (like a big builders rubble bag) they should be enough to mulch an 8×8m area.
