What is digestate?

Farm crops (rye, barley and maize) are grown and harvested sustainably.

The crops go into a biodigester to produce clean, renewable biogas.

This also creates a highly nutritious organic fibrous material becomes your premium garden mulch.

How do I use it?

Our mulch is extremely light, fibrous and easy to spread. It can be used all-year-round all over your garden!

Winter application, spread to four inches of depth and let mother nature do the rest! Worms, fungi and weather will help incorporate all the goodness into your now turbo charged soil! 

Spring application, spread to four inches of depth then turn over the area to a fork’s depth. Great for new or struggling beds. If you can, wait 5-7 days before planting.

Can be used as a mulch, make sure to leave a gap around any young or sensitive plants. The result will be a natural and professional looking finish to your borders and beds.

Lawn dressing, best applied from winter to mid spring. Spread the mulch in an even thin layer and rake to apply evenly. The next time you mow your lawn leave the clippings on the ground to help the mulch incorporate and improve the nutrient cycling of your soil.

How do I try some?

We deliver 1000 litre bulk bags (think those big heavy duty rubble bags that builders use) to a 10 mile radius of OX10. We are working on being able to supply smaller quantities in the future.
